Causes of William's Syndrome
William's Syndrome is not caused by anything the parents did or did not do during pregnancy. William's is caused by the deletion of genes 26-28 on chromosome #7 during the time of conception. The elastin gene deletion accounts for many of the physical features of people affected by William's.
